SooC, Auto, AI or manually edited?

There is a lot of contention about editing. Should you edit at all? If so how much? Is straight out of camera (SooC) a ‘purer’ form of photography? How about the use of Artificial Intelligence?

This debate keeps on rolling and the transformation that AI is bringing, and will continue to bring, just heats the debate up further. This competition is not about these arguments, it is about the final image.

Can you identify which of the images below is straight out of camera (RAW), which has been edited using standard ‘Auto’ features, which has been edited using Artificial Intelligence (AI) features, and which has been edited manually by me?

Some of the differences are subtle, so you may need to look closely and will have a better chance on a larger screen!

The winner will be selected at random from all correct entries and will win a Fine Art Print, of their preferred image.

The print will be produced by me, using the Canon Pro 1000, using the very best inks and printed at 17”x17” (inc. border) on Hahnemühle 305 gsm, Photo Rag Ultra Smooth, fine art paper

I will ship the print to the winner, at my cost, to anywhere in the world. Delivery times will vary and if you are lucky enough to live somewhere remote and exotic, I will prioritise cost over speed!
