Open Series - The Coast

Over the past year I’ve received a number of messages asking whether prints of my photographs are available. I’ve taken my time with that decision. The idea of an image leaving my hard drive and finding a place in someone’s home is genuinely exciting, but it also carries responsibility. I wanted to be certain that if I offered prints, they would reflect the same care that goes into making the photographs in the first place.

This series is the beginning of that step.

Each print is photographed by me, edited by me, printed by me on premium paper, and carefully packaged and sent by me. For now, I’m keeping things deliberately simple: a single size, a small release every few months, and a considered approach. This isn’t about volume. It’s about doing it properly.

Photography is subjective. As the photographer, I can become attached to certain images for personal reasons; the conditions, the effort, the memory of the day. But an open series should feel broader than that.

For each release, I’ll shortlist five images that I believe meet the brief, in this case, ‘The Coast’ and I’d value your perspective in shaping the final selection.

Which images feel right for this series? Please choose the images that you’d be happy to live with.

Your selections will determine the final three prints in this series.

And, as a thank you for helping to shape the series, one contributor will receive the print of their choice from the final series.
