Open Series No1 - The Coast
This is the first Open Series and brings together three photographs from the coast.
These three photographs were selected from a shortlist of five through community participation. Thank you to everyone who helped shape this series.
The prints are produced as A3 archival prints on Ilford Smooth Pearl paper (see full print details below).
Each print is produced, inspected and packaged by me, personally.

I make, edit and print all of the photographs on this website, myself. Only once I have inspected every individual print do I package and send to customers
Rested
The Meisho Maru No. 38, a Japanese fishing trawler that ran aground in1982 is one of many casualties near the point where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet in South Africa. Today, it sits quietly just off the coast, a reminder that in the end, everything rests and everything ‘rusts’

Distant
Photographed on the north coast of Kent, the railings lead the eye toward the historic Reculver Towers overlooking a misty Thames Estuary. The black and white treatment enhances the sense of a distant subject from a distant time.
